Terms of service
Clear expectations for your first conversation, our academic support, and any paid work we agree together.

1. About Nickora
Nickora is operated by Nick Ameta, trading as Nickora, a sole proprietor based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Contact info@nickora.com or WhatsApp +91 82094 88577. We respond within 24 hours. We support students internationally, including the UK.
A first enquiry is not a paid order or a confirmed appointment. Before accepting a paid engagement, we provide the full business postal address and a written quotation you can keep, including scope, price, currency, any applicable taxes, schedule, payment arrangements and cancellation information.
2. What our support includes—and doesn’t
Our services include educational consultancy, admissions guidance, mentoring, research and dissertation guidance, academic proofreading/editing, referencing and formatting. The particular deliverables and any revision allowance are agreed in writing. Extra work requires your agreement to any additional charge first.
We do not ghostwrite assessed work, sit examinations, fabricate data or references, impersonate students, or guarantee an academic outcome. Editing and guidance must fit your institution’s rules. You remain responsible for authorship, factual accuracy, obtaining required permissions and the final work you submit.
We are not a university, awarding body or immigration authority. Academic guidance is not regulated immigration or legal advice. Journal articles are general information; check current institutional requirements and obtain suitably qualified advice where needed.
3. Agreeing the work and payment
The first conversation is free. Paid work begins only after the scope, fee and timing have been accepted in writing and any agreed initial payment has been made. There is no automatic subscription or recurring charge from this website.
The quote identifies the payment currency and any taxes or charges we impose. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or fees. Do not send card details in the contact form or WhatsApp chat. Keep a copy of the accepted quote and payment confirmation.
4. Sessions, deadlines and your participation
We agree session times with the time zone stated, and realistic delivery dates. Supply accurate instructions, institution policies and materials in time for the agreed work. Tell us promptly about changing requirements, missed sessions or deadlines; we will explain any effect on timing or scope before agreeing changes.
Ask to reschedule as early as possible. We will try to offer a reasonable alternative and will not impose an undisclosed cancellation or rescheduling fee. If we cannot deliver an agreed part of the service, we will discuss an alternative or refund the undelivered part, without limiting your legal remedies.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel by a clear email to info@nickora.com or a WhatsApp message identifying the work and your name. You do not need to use special wording or explain why. Please keep a copy.
If you cancel before work starts, we refund the payment for the cancelled work. If work has started, we explain any lawful, proportionate charge for agreed work already supplied and refund the unused balance. There is no blanket “no refunds” rule. A separate statutory cancellation or service-quality right takes priority where it gives you greater protection.
We issue refunds due without unnecessary delay, normally within 14 days of cancellation or agreement that the refund is due, and in any event within the applicable legal deadline. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise and do not charge a refund processing fee.
6. UK distance-contract cancellation rights
Where UK consumer distance-contract rules apply, you normally have 14 days after the day a service contract is made to cancel without a reason. Any legally extended period or exception also applies. These terms do not shorten those rights.
We do not start during that period unless you expressly request it. If you then cancel, a proportionate charge for work supplied is payable only where the required information and request conditions were met. Your cancellation right ends on full performance only where you first requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence. Simply using this website, sending an enquiry or accepting these terms is not that request or acknowledgement.
Optional cancellation message
“To Nick Ameta trading as Nickora, info@nickora.com: I give notice that I cancel my service contract for [service], agreed on [date]. My name is [name] and my contact details are [details]. Date: [date].”
A clear message in your own words is equally acceptable.
7. Quality, outcomes and complaints
We provide agreed services with reasonable care and skill. Admission, funding, marks, publication, visa decisions and other outcomes are controlled by institutions or third parties and cannot be guaranteed.
If something is wrong, contact Nick with the agreed scope and the concern. We acknowledge your message within 24 hours and explain the next steps and a reasonable resolution timeframe. Where applicable consumer law requires it, remedies may include putting the service right at no additional charge or an appropriate price reduction or refund. Reporting a concern does not waive those rights.
8. Your materials and confidentiality
You retain rights in the original material you supply. You give us only the permission needed to carry out the agreed service. You must have permission to share any third-party content and should anonymise research-participant data. We do not publish your work, use it as a testimonial, contact your institution or put it into a public AI tool without an appropriate separate agreement or another lawful requirement.
Our original guidance and templates are for your personal academic use unless otherwise agreed. They may not be resold as your own commercial product. Information handling and retention are explained in our privacy notice.
9. Your legal rights and these terms
Nothing here excludes liability or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. We do not use a blanket disclaimer to remove responsibility for our own service.
Applicable Indian law governs our business, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you, including relevant consumer rights in your country of residence. These terms do not require you to give up a legally available court, regulator or complaint route.
We may update these terms for future engagements. The terms and accepted written scope applicable when you agree a particular engagement continue to govern it unless we mutually agree a change that preserves your mandatory rights. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree the engagement.
